The Black Heart is an indie animation series for PC game developed by Andres Borghi using MUGEN two comics. The game has a lot of familiarity with other combat games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat but the presentation in The Black Heart is quite unique.

The plot is a dark fantasy world that has killed the king and the founder of the world who has lost his mind through a place we finally know. Players will take on the role of six different characters as they take part in one of the fights becoming more and more advanced as they progress. Their ultimate goal is to win the final and secure King's heart, The Black Heart.
The stories in The Black Heart are spread over the six chapters that have each played with other characters and should be played exactly if you follow the historical stages of the game. The dark atmosphere of the game is more politically motivated and gore, the game is not for the faint of heart and players should expect a lot of bloodsheds when the assassins and murderers are killed.
When completing the story mode and winning the final with all six characters, a selection of games and game mode is planned for successful play. These game modes include team history, the team instead, team strategy, survival, team leadership, cancer strategy, and training.

  • Shar-Makai - The Shar Makai is a group of stubborn monsters who serve as soldiers for the King's son, Prince. They are sent out to rescue the Black Heart from the Final.
Each of the following six chapters is synonymous with the exception of the player character. However, the reasons behind their desire to play Black Heart from the Final are different. The fights are the custom to custom arcade-style fighting games where each fight becomes harder and harder.

The Black Heart was developed over seven years by Andres Borghi and has been released. You have received many good reviews that include all the original images and tones. The game has also been updated since it's the first launch, the current version of the game is version 1.2.1 which was released in Feb 2014. The game is currently available for free download from Game Jolt.
